Zorya: The Celestial Sisters Makes Helping Family of Cosmic Importance
Fans of puzzle games will be pleased to hear that the critically acclaimed Zorya: The Celestial Sisters is now available on Nintendo Switch and PC. This award-winning, two-player cooperative puzzle game tasks gamers with managing the forces of light and darkness.
One player controls Aysu, goddess of the night, who has become stranded on earth. The other player takes on the role of Solveig, the sun goddess, who remains in the heavens. The sisters must navigate a lush fantasy world from two perspectives in order to reunite.
In this charming adventure game, players will solve increasingly complex puzzles while making their way across the lands of Vyraj. In this desolate world, the sun never sets, forcing you to choose your path carefully.
Aysu must stay in the shadows and find ways to manipulate her environment with her wind powers while playing from a third-person perspective. Meanwhile, Solveig examines the world from far above and uses her control over time and ability to harness solar energy to ease the way. Solveig’s abilities can open up new paths for Aysu, but Aysu must walk them on her own feet. Likewise, Aysu can push enemies and puzzle elements into the light of day where Solveig must deal with them.
The result is an adventure that relies on communication and understanding between you and your partner. As long as the two of you are on the same page, you can safely guide Aysu to her destination and reunite the celestial sisters.
Ideally, two players will team up to solve the game’s puzzles and guide Aysu back to the heavens. However, a single determined player can also reunite the sisters. Either way, cooperation between the game’s two player characters is essential to the experience.
