There’s a Big Lineup From Coming From the PlayNow SubscriptionÂ
It’s always fun to see what’s coming out for the PlayNow subscription. Sometimes, it’s unexpected games, and this lineup seems to be especially good this March 2022.
For one, Shadow Warrior 3 will be released on PlayNow on the same day of its release-allowing players who have the subscription to enjoy the game and go through its paces. There are also a few other games that will be joining the March 2022 docket- Crysis Remastered, Relicta, and Chicken Police – Paint It Red!

Shadow Warrior 3, Crysis Remastered, Relicta, and Chicken Police will be available to download from the PlayStation store on March 1st. And while Shadow Warrior 3 will only be staying free to download until July 4, 2022, the other three games will be staying on the roster for PlayNow games.
This does seem to be a change from the norm for PlayNow, making it more like the Xbox’s Game Pass, and less like, say, what PlayStation has done with their subscription service in the past, or what Nintendo Switch does in their stores.
So, if we’re lucky, this may mean that we will see same-day releases of new games coming onto the PlayNow subscription, and have them be bigger titles as well. Though there has yet to be confirmation or denial of this, we can only wait and see what Sony and PlayStation plan to do in the future. It is entirely possible that this is an attempt to see how well it will go- an experiment to see if this means an upscale of subscription buying.
Maybe if there’s an uptick, we will get to see PlayStation exclusives on PlayNow on the same day they are released.
