Dragon Age 4 “Is On Schedule”
Dragon Age 4 is reportedly on track to release in 2023. Despite having a number of setbacks and reboots, it looks like fans will finally be able to play the game late 2023. This news comes from the reports of an insider who has claimed that his sources informed him that everything about the game “is on schedule.”
“Overall, when they look at where they are supposed to be at in the development cycle, they are hitting their milestones and where they are supposed to be,” the insider confirmed. “The game is on schedule.”
“It is still at least 18 months out from today,” he added. “So not early 2023, maybe late 2023.”
BioWare released the first full Dragon Age 4 trailer to the gaming public back in December of 2020. “We are still in early production,” devs said at the time. “We thought it was time to give you the very first look at how BioWare’s passionate team of developers are crafting this very special game.”
Despite sources claiming that Dragon Age 4 could be out by late next year, there is still a possibility that launch could slip past this estimate. Devs were able to meet deadlines so far. However, the insider has reminded the gaming public that anything can happen between now and then. Something can turn up and potentially throw the project off of its course.
Fans are hopeful that devs could release a remastered Dragon Age collection if the game launches later than 2023. This could probably tide them over until then. Unfortunately, the insider has revealed that the devs have no plans for such project at the moment. After all, the collection would need more of an investment from the whole team.
Eighteen months is still a long ways away. Still, fans are glad to know that Dragon Age 4 is currently progressing well.
