Adapt, Game of Evolutionary Survival, Releases Announcement Trailer

Can You Evolve The Best?

Evolution is a fickle concept. It is, by definition, the living example of survival of the fittest. Now you can see how evolution plays out with a species of your own design. In Slug Disco Studios’ upcoming game of evolutionary survival, Adapt, you can watch evolution happen with a little interference from the player. A press release about the game, featuring the trailer, provides more details about the gameplay and mechanics of the game.

Adapt Announcement

Adapt allows players to design and play as their own species. Each genetic trait you pick to use in your creatures design will change how you need to try and evolve. Seeking out habitable environments, proper food, and reacting to changes in the environment like weather are all a part of ensuring your species survival. Furthermore, the evolutionary train doesn’t stop once you make your species. On the contrary player, you’re on board this train and it isn’t stopping.

As your species evolves you gain new traits, specializations and more. All things your species will need to survive. In addition, your playable species can learn to survive anywhere. From the highest mountains, to the bottom of the ocean, if you can give it the traits it can survive. Further, players get a glimpse of the different biomes and examples of evolutionary traits in the trailer.

Adapt will be the next game to join Slug Disco Studio’s roster. Joining a collection of games from the RTS style Empires of Undergrowth, to the sim game Ecosystem, Adapt should feel right at home. So, how will you adapt?
