Pokémon Legends: Arceus Fan Claims He Has the Game’s Physical Copy
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is due to be released for the Switch on January 28th. However, it has been claimed by one fan that an early physical copy of the game has already been given out.
A first image of Pokémon Legends: Arceus in its box has been shared on social media. Apparently, a fan has in his hands a physical copy of the game. The rest of the game’s fans that were not fortunate enough to grab theirs are hopeful that the person who got it would share his experience.
Shortly after the image was shared, an image of what fans believe is Pokémon Legends: Arceus’ starting cinematic was also revealed. With that said, players who do not want any spoilers might want to stay off of social media for some time.
It is somewhat a tradition within the Pokémon community to get leaks about any upcoming titles online. It is not uncommon for retailers to reveal street dates and decide to sell games earlier than others. Many fans wait patiently for these leaks. However, some Pokémon fans prefer for their experience to be a surprise.
These leaks relatively fall in line with several other releases within the Pokémon franchise. A select few oftentimes get the games well ahead of time. These chosen players usually share their experience before the titles arrive in stores.
Considering that Pokémon’s leak season has begun, most fans are expecting even more leaks ahead of the game’s official release. Still, players should take the information from the leakers with a grain of salt. Nothing is concrete until confirmed by the devs. Moreover, because the leaker has his personal information in his profile, it remains unclear for how long he can keep leaking Pokémon Legends: Arceus content.
