Halo Infinite Devs Made New Build to Address BTB Core Issues

Halo Infinite’s BTB Fix Is Coming on February 3rd

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer mode launched late last year. Since its release, however, fans have constantly been complaining about a lot of problems. A lot of which impacted the game’s Big Team Battle feature.

Developer 343 Industries listened to everyone’s woes and have had a few attempts at resolving them. “A strike force continued to work on this over the break,” confirmed Community Manager Brian Jarrard earlier this month. “We are optimistic to say we believe we have a fix in hand for the core issue.”

Fortunately for the Halo Infinite community, they were able to come up with a new fix that they think will finally address the mode’s core issues.

Using the telemetry we received from the hot fix on January 19th, we were able to make a new build with an update that we believe should address the core issues impacting the BTB playlist, said Senior Community Manager John Junyszek. “The studio ran a successful play test today and plans to send it off for certification on Monday.”

Junyszek went on to share the details of their process. Once they send it off, “it will take some time to go through the certification process and to find out if it is approved.” It is only after approval that the devs will begin to prepare for an official release to the public.

Since there is still a lot more the internal release process to go through, the earliest we would expect this hot fix to land would be next Thursday, February 3rd,” he added.

Halo Infinite devs want their fans to know that they listen to community feedback “day-in and day-out.” “We see it all,” Junyszek continued. “We are acting on what we can quickly while also taking stock of what we would like to target for larger updates down the line.
