Archeage Finishes 2021 with Fresh Updates for the New Year

Erenor is reborn. Now under new acting publisher Kakao Games. The MMORPG Archeage has been revitalized under its new publisher ushering in an age of new content. A press release discussed all of the new details. 

Kakao, in the press release, says the updates are “offering a day-one experience for nostalgic long-timers, and a place for those new to the game to compete and thrive on a level playing field.”

The transfer of the game from XLGAMES to Kakao is ushering in many changes. From server upgrades, to a new skill set: “Spelldance”, there is a lot to come. There is even a new challenging, five-man dungeon: Black Thorn Prison. Players will need to transfer their accounts now to Kakoe to play. They can do so from here, as well as find additional information on account transfers.  

Kakao also discussed more details in a video talking about being new acting publisher in collaboration with XLGAMES executive producer Jake Song.

As far as Archeage: Unchained goes, it will now run on a subscription model. The press release had stated that “ArcheAge: Unchained now follows a subscription model, with the monthly subscription set at 9.99($,€) for 30 days.” 

On top of all of these changes, Kakao has also stated that many gifts will be awaiting old and new players. Gifts ranging from experience boosters to free premium Archepasses. They have given a roadmap of all the gifts players can receive. The event, that includes all of these changes, lasts into the new year ending on January 6th 2022. 

The MMORPG will also be offering new and old players thirty days of premium upon transfer or sign up. Those that have purchased DLC’s before the subscription of Archeage: Unchained will also be granted further free time, up to 180 days.
