Mass Effect Legendary Edition’s Xbox Store Listing Hints at Possible Game Pass Appearance

Mass Effect Legendary Edition may be making its way to Xbox Game Pass, according to a listing on the Xbox Store. Although the said listing was only live for a short period of time on November 19th before it was taken off, several sources have taken screenshots of it prior to its removal. As seen in the screenshots, the three-game remaster collection was briefly flagged with a Game Pass badge.

BioWare launched Mass Effect Legendary Edition just this May, and the game was very well-received among gamers all over the world. It currently has a rating of 86 on Metacritic and is actually recommended by 96% of today’s gaming critics. Electronic Arts even announced that the sales of the game far exceeded the team’s pre-release forecasts.

EA adds games to EA Play, which is their own subscription service, within a year of the game’s launch. Fortunately for fans of Mass Effect Legendary Edition, EA Play is currently bundled with Xbox Game Pass.

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition community is hopeful that the reports are true—although there are some who speculate that it may be false. There were also speculations that Cyberpunk 2077 will be making a Game Pass appearance. However, these claims were quickly shot down by CD Projekt Red’s Global PR Director Radek Grabowski. At the moment, neither Xbox nor EA has released an official statement about this matter, but it it is worth noting that the game would definitely bolster the impressive RPGs that are already available in the subscription service.

When Mass Effect Legendary Edition was launched in May, it featured all three of the previously released Mass Effect titles.  The collection boasts of technical enhancements, extensive visual improvements, as well as multiple adjustments to its gameplay.
