Action RPG Grim Dawn: Definitive Edition Coming to Xbox

The Night Is Always Grimmest Before the Dawn

Dark Fantasy. RPG. Dungeon Crawler. 2021. You may be thinking Diablo, but you’re wrong. If those elements are your kind of thing, you may recall the 2016 PC game called Grim Dawn. It was exclusive to PC, but in just a week, Grim Dawn: Definitive Edition will be coming to Xbox.

If Diablo games are your thing, you may want to give this game a try. Not just to sate your appetite until the next one comes out, because Grim Dawn does distinguish itself from Diablo. It has elements that will be familiar to some games, but also has features you may wish you had in other titles.

Grim Dawn: Definitive Edition

Grim Dawn has a wide range of how you can play the game. There are nine different classes to try out, but your character is not tied down to just one progression path. The Dual Class system allows players to pick any two of the nine classes to really customize what kind of character you want to build.

The Xbox version will be Grim Dawn: Definitive Edition, which will hopefully be nothing like GTA: Definitive Edition. It will come bundled with the two expansions, Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods. The base game has six classes, but Ashes of Malmouth adds two more and Forgotten Gods adds another.

Grim Dawn also had a DLC called The Crucible, which would supposedly be part of the Definitive Edition, but the Xbox Store page makes no mention of it. Grim Dawn is out now for PC and the Definitive Edition will be coming out on December 3rd to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
