Beware the Wrath of the Righteous!
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is out now on PC, and you can check it out with the new launch trailer.
Creative director Alexander Mishulin had this to say:
“We have been gathering community feedback very carefully in the development of Wrath of the Righteous. Their support has helped us expand the original scope of the game and create the CRPG experience that we have dreamed of. And we are incredibly grateful for that.”
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is based on the rules of the Pathfinder tabletop role-playing game and is a sequel to Pathfinder: Kingmaker. It was a huge Kickstarter success, so it is great to see the game released, and hopefully, fans are able to enjoy the final product. Hopefully, it has fewer bugs than Kingmaker did at launch.
The trailer showcases crusade mode, along with mounted combat and tactical combat game mechanics. In crusade mode, players select their general, change the size of their army, and explore the map of the world.
I’ve been looking forward to Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Pathfinder: Kingmaker was a solid RPG with some rough edges that needed smoothing, and a sequel is a perfect chance to smooth some of those rough edges. It seems to offer quite a few options with players being able to play as a celestial angel, raging demon, powerful lich, a cunning trickster, otherworldly aeon, a rebellious Azata, a wise gold dragon, an insatiable Swarm-That-Walks, or remain a mortal.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is out now on PC and PS4, and Xbox One is set to launch on March 1, 2022.
