XSeed Games Have Announced That Vira Will Join Granblue Fantasy: Versus Lineup
Granblue Fantasy is a long standing, popular Japanese franchise and in 2020, its latest iteration released successfully on PC via Steam and PlayStation 4. XSeed Games, developers of Legend of Heroes, the Ys series and more, in collaboration with Cygames, a Japanese video game developer, have announced an upcoming character in Granblue Fantasy: Versus.
Today, the company has announced that Vira will be coming to Granblue Fantasy: Versus. Vira is the current Lord Commander of Albion Citadel and will join the game’s roster on both PlayStation 4 and PC versions. Unfortunately for fans, the company is keeping her backstory and fighting style a secret for now, but details on both will be revealed later this year.
Vira was raised in the fortress city, Albion Citadel, and grew up alongside her sister, Katalina, who was an inspiration and role model for her. Vira followed in her sister’s footsteps and quickly became an outstanding tactician and versed as a blademaster. However, Katalina soon left the city to explore the skies while Vira, who won the battle for Lord Commander of the city, was stuck in Albion alone.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus mixes RPG action with its unique fighting mechanics. The game features both an RPG and Versus mode, giving players a wide variety of options as they progress through the world and become the top fighter. Intuitive controls and beautiful graphics make Granblue Fantasy stand out from the crowd.
