The Prince Vorkken DLC Now Out for The Wonderful 101 on All Platforms

Platinum Game’s Remaster Receiving New Content

Platinum Games, the well-known developer of hack and slash games such as Nier Automata and Bayonetta, have just released The Prince Vorkken DLC for The Wonderful 101: Remastered on Steam, the Switch, and the Playstation 4.  Originally released as a Wii U exclusive, Platinum Games managed to release a remastered edition through a kickstarter on the PC, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch platforms.

For those who may not have heard of this game, it’s an action isometric beat em’ up that allows you to control a horde of heroes by drawing different shapes on your screen.  For example, you can draw a straight line in order to transform your gaggle of heroes into a sword to be wielded in combat and puzzles.

The game features a whole host of heroes ranging from original heroes such as “Wonder-Red” to even Platinum Game’s own Bayonetta.  With the latest DLC, you can now use Prince Vorkken in combat.  When using Prince Vorkken, your multi-unite ability is replaced by “Enemy Unite,” which “summons a host of “Unify Monster” alien beasts!”

Prince Vorkken is the second DLC to be released for the Wonderful 101 Remaster.  The first DLC, “Time Attack,” was released in June of this year for free and offers speedrun challenges for players to take on.  The latest character, Prince Vorkken, is usable in Time Attacks, so you can use his multi-unite ability to achieve faster times.

The Wonderful 101: Remastered is on sale on Steam and the Nintendo Switch, priced at a 32% discount for $27.19 on both stores.  In addition, the new character DLC is available for a price of $1.  Although The Wonderful 101: Remastered is not on sale on the Playstation store, the DLC has also been released for a dollar.
