New Warframe Expansion Coming To All Platforms This Year

The New War Showcased At TennoCon 2021

Warframe, the gigantic third-person sci fi looter shooter, is humming along quite nicely. TennoCon 2021 treated fans to a ton of new information about the game, including  the upcoming expansion, The New War. The upcoming content is coming to all platforms later this year, along with cross-play and cross-save features. Since the game is free to play, you could be playing across half a dozen different versions!

Warframe The New War

You can check out the whole dang stream right here. I’d embed it below, but the content is age gated, so you might as well head directly to YouTube. The team demonstrated the upcoming features live, along with an upcoming mobile version. That’s even more places to play Warframe! We’ve got no concrete dates for this content, beyond a wide open 2021 release window. Which isn’t much, but it’s something!

If you haven’t checked out Warframe yet, word on the street is that it’s pretty good! If nothing else, I’ve had many friends succumb to the siren song lure of this beautiful free to play title. Panic Button and Digital Extremes are still releasing content on a regular basis, including the aforementioned expansion. First time players have a ton of stuff to do, in other words. For a boatload more information, you can check out their whole YouTube channel, along with the official site right here. Warframe is out right now on PC, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
