WitcherCon Reveals Its Full Event Schedule

No New Games Announced, But Plenty of Updates on Existing Ones

CD Projekt Red and Netflix have teamed up to reveal the full event schedule for WitcherCon, the online convention coming in July focused entirely on the Witcher franchise. The line-up will include numerous panels, such as “Memories from the Path: Stories Behind The Witcher Games” which will be held by key figures behind the creation of the Witcher games reminiscing about their favorite moments from the series. “Monster Slayer: Live the Life of a Witcher” will see the team at Spokko helping players to understand what the new, location-based AR RPG The Witcher: Monster Slayer is all about in the lead-up to its mobile launch. You know, aside from Pokemon GO, except you actually kill the monsters. Finally, “The Witcher: Beyond Video Games” will explore the creative process behind the Witcher’s expanded universe installments, which include insight on the Witcher comic books and the upcoming board game The Witcher: Old World.

This panel line-up is impressive, but it’s far from all that WitcherCon has to offer Witcher fans. The convention will also feature more content from both CD PROJEKT RED and Netflix, as well as multiple musical performances from composer Marcin PrzybyÅ‚owicz and folk metal band Percival, who worked on the award-winning original score for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The event will consist of two separate live streams, each containing some exclusive content, interactive panels, and explorations into the series’ lore.

Other panels will include a trivia game, an examination of Yennefar and Ciri’s character arcs in The Witcher Netflix show, an examination of how The Witcher figures are designed and created, and a spotlight conversation with Henry Cavill. There may not be any new Witcher games announced at this convention, but WitcherCon still has a lot to offer fans. You can see the full event schedule on the WitcherCon website. Save the date.
