Hear That, Zack? We’re in a Computer
I think we are all in agreement: literature, reports, and news updates without pictures are boring. Conversely, literature, reports, and news updates with pictures are more exciting! That’s how we trick kids into reading at an early age. It is also how Thunderful Group makes their annual reports more digestible. They recently released their annual report for the 2020 year. It is full of boring stuff like numbers and growth, but there is a nugget of news for Deadly Premonition 2 fans. It appears that Thunderful Group will be releasing a port of the game on PC.
In a section of their annual report, Thunderful Group shows a graphic of internally and externally developed games (pages 14 and 18 respectively). Here we see the title “Deadly Premonition 2 – Steam” scheduled for a 2021 digital release on PC. About two years ago, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise was announced to be a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Upon its release, it was plagued by performance issues, as well as a scene poorly depicting a trans character. Those issues had mostly been handled, but hopefully, Deadly Premonition 2 will have a fresh and better start on the PC.
This is the first instance where we are hearing about this game on PC, so hopefully, SWERY or Toybox will make a grand announcement soon. Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is available now on Nintendo Switch and is expected to come out on PC in 2021.
