Story and Gameplay Footage
Rune Factory 5 has received a new trailer in Japan. While the trailer may be in Japanese, we can still take a look at some of the new gameplay aspects shown in the almost 3-minute video.
The first minute of the trailer appears to focus on the game’s story, with a series of in-game cutscenes and dialogue. Afterward we get into some of the core gameplay with footage of the game’s farming, fishing, shopping, festivals, and blacksmith mini-game.
The game’s lovable bachelors are also shown off, giving you an idea of your future husband/wife.
While the character designs do look great, the monster designs look even better as the trailer highlights some of the fearsome foes you’ll have to face, in addition to some combat gameplay footage.
The trailer ends with an image of the game’s premium edition which features a special box, visual book, Memorial Soundtrack Selection, and a “Rune Factory 4 Bachelorette / Bachelor Costume Set” DLC.
Rune Factory 5 is making its way to Nintendo Switch in Japan on May 20, 2021 –however a release date has not been given for the English version of the game outside of a general 2021 window.
