Total War: Warhammer III Coming Later This Year

Total War: Warhammer III Trailer Confirms 2021 Release

SEGA and Games Workshop have officially unveiled Total War: Warhammer III with a new cinematic trailer. The “Conquer Your Daemons” trailer lacked gameplay, but it showed the consequences of war through wagons of dead bodies being taken from the battlefield, and teased some characters that Total War fans can expect to see in the upcoming sequel. Total War: Warhammer III is expected to release later this year for PC and players can pre-order through Steam, Epic Games Store, and through the developers directly.

“Our vision, from the start, was to create a series that felt like an incredible journey through this world we all loved.,” said Total War: Warhammer III Game Director, Ian Roxburgh. “The enormous support of our players in ensuring the success of the first two installments has pushed our ambition to new heights, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”

“The craft, dedication, and authenticity to the Warhammer world that Creative Assembly has poured into the celebrated Total War Warhammer franchise over the years has been a delight to us at Games Workshop and fans worldwide,” said Global Head of Licensing Jon Gillard. “Creating and developing the armies of Cathay and Kislev for this project has been a lot of fun for our designers and we’re looking forward to seeing them take to the field in this huge third game in the series.”

In this upcoming Total War: Warhammer title, player decision will apparently impact the world around them more than the previous titles in the series. The upcoming sequel will feature iconic new races from Warhammer such as the debut of Kislev and Cathay alongside the factions of Chaos – Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh and Tzeentch.
