343 Industries Job Listing Suggests New Halo Universe Project
While Halo Infinite will be releasing later this year, 343 Industries apparently has more planned for the Halo universe beyond the release. 343 Industries is hiring for a producer and apparently, the selected applicant will work on a new project in the Halo universe. The job listing doesn’t specify what this project is, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see something like Halo Reach or ODST in the future. The rest of Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available right now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and through Game Pass Ultimate.
“343 Industries is looking for a Producer to help develop a new project in the Halo universe,” said the 343 Industries job listing. “This is your chance to work on one of the most exciting and creative intellectual properties in the industry with one of the industry’s most talented teams.” While the job listing suggests a new title in the Halo universe, it wouldn’t be a big shock to see another spinoff title akin to Halo Reach or Halo 3: ODST, but it’ll be interesting to see what 343 Industries has cooking up for the next installment in the Halo franchise.
The new Halo universe project from 343 Industries will apparently meet “quality and ‘fun’ goals while actively managing the schedule and milestone deliverables.” A lot of people had complaints about Halo Infinite’s gameplay trailer, but one thing that wasn’t brought up is a lacking fun factor, so it looks like 343 Industries maintains a heavy focus on fun with the next Halo universe title.
