The Elder Scrolls May Join Netflix Next

Netflix Might Be Interested in The Elder Scrolls

According to a rumor from film and TV industry insider Daniel Richtman, The Elder Scrolls may be the next gaming series getting a proper Netflix adaptation. There are already plans for a Fallout TV series, but it looks like Bethesda and Netflix may be closing in on some sort of deal for an adaptation of its fantasy RPG series. The Elder Scrolls Online is available right now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Google Stadia, PC, Mac, and through the extensive Xbox Game Pass Ultimate lineup.

Daniel Richtman has officially suggested that Netflix wants The Elder Scrolls TV series to be just as, if not more popular than its adaptation of The Witcher series which is still ongoing. Considering these worlds share some similarities, it wouldn’t be farfetched to think that The Elder Scrolls community will be just as hyped for a Netflix adaptation as The Witcher fans were for that series.

While Bethesda, Microsft, and Netflix have yet to confirm whether or not fans of The Elder Scrolls can expect a TV series, it’s entirely possible to see such a show considering how well The Witcher is doing. The Elder Scrolls series really captivated the world with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim which continues to be appreciated on modern consoles nine years later. The Elder Scrolls Online recently went to Skyrim with the Greymoor expansion and it’s headed through the Gates of Oblivion with its next expansion.
