Josef Fares Brings His Unpredictable Antics Back to The Game Awards

Josef Fares May ^&*$ the Oscars With It Takes Two

Industry figure and host of The Game Awards Geoff Keighley has officially confirmed that the infamous Josef Fares will be returning to The Game Awards this year. Fares will be coming prepared with gameplay of Hazelight Studios’ upcoming It Takes Two. The game is apparently heavily co-op based just like the studios’ previous hit, A Way Out. A Way Out is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and through the extensive Xbox Game Pass Ultimate lineup.

Geoff Keighley took to Twitter to let the world know about Josef Fares joining The Game Awards 2020 lineup, saying “It’s about to get….interesting. Thursday night, Josef Fares makes his triumphant return to The Game Awards stage to present the world gameplay premiere of It Takes Two, the brand new game from Hazelight Games.” While we aren’t entirely sure of what to expect from Hazelight Games’ next title, Josef Fares gave a teaser of it last year with a mere glimpse of what the game will include.

When talking about the game last year, Josef Fares said, “I founded Hazelight to keep pushing the boundaries of what is possible in games. That’s what game number three from Hazelight is all about. The new game, It Takes Two, is a co-op action-adventure platformer that will blow your f***ing mind away. The story starts out with a small family Cody and May, the parents, and Rose who’s the daughter. Cody and May are about to separate, Rose doesn’t want the divorce, so she creates two dolls out of wood and clay and these dolls magically come alive and you actually control Cody and May.”
