Cyberpunk 2077 Will Be Playable on GeForce NOW at Launch

Just Make Sure You Buy Your Copy From GOG.com

Just three days until Cyberpunk 2077 launches, which means it’s the perfect time to start discussing technical specs. We already know the game looks amazing and seems to be playing smoothly on consoles–and that CD Projekt Red really, really doesn’t want you to stream it before December 10th–but what do we know about the PC versions? A lot, actually, but let’s zoom in specifically on the copies sold by GOG.com. Why? Because GOG.com has teamed up with GeForce NOW, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service, to ensure that you can play Cyberpunk 2077 on GeForce NOW from day one.

This means you can explore the grimy corners and winding neon streets Night City on just about any device, even if that device is low-powered or incompatible. Windows and Mac laptops, Chromebooks, you name it. And if you’re a GeForce NOW Founders member, you’ll have a chance to experience the game with RTX ON. That means gorgeous graphics, and more importantly, Ray Tracing. Everybody loves Ray Tracing. Better yet, when you buy from GOG.com, you’re supporting the creators–100% of your money will go straight to CD PROJEKT Group. Hopefully, we can all agree that these devs have worked hard and deserve the cash.

Of course, if you really want to support the Cyberpunk 2077 team, then there’s a dizzying array of merch you can buy, including shoes and a guidebook. You could also buy the game on your platform of choice–the Steam version is also quite popular–or just raise awareness by discussing the upcoming game. Or its trailers. Its trailers are definitely worth talking about.

This is just the first step to GOG.com and NVIDIA’s exciting collaboration. More news will be coming down the pipeline soon.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release on December 10th, 2020, for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Stadia. It will also be playable on Xbox Series X|S and PS5. A free next-gen upgrade will become available for owners of the Xbox One and PS4 versions respectively at a later date.
