Scott Pilgrim vs. the World Returns on 10th Anniversary

Ubisoft Bringing Back Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

During the recent Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft confirmed that Scott Pilgrim vs. the World would be returning for its 10th anniversary. The game originally released back in 2010, but the indie darling of last-gen will be upgraded for the current generation of consoles. The new version of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World will release with all of the DLC offered beyond its last release. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: Complete Edition releases this holiday season for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC through UPlay.

The anniversary edition of Scott Pilgrim vs the World has been a long time coming, with the creator of the graphic novel Brian Lee O’Malley, and Ubisoft working together to finally re-release the game after it was delisted and removed from the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live in 2014. Brian Lee O’Malley was apparently the first to reach out regarding Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’s 10th anniversary, and Ubisoft was quick to get back to him and get to work on porting the classic 2D brawler.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World was leaked ahead of the recent Ubisoft Forward by Edgard Wright who brought the graphic novel to the silver screen back in 2010. With no more new Scott Pilgrim content expected in the foreseeable future, this 10th anniversary port of the original Scott Pilgrim vs the World will keep fans entertained by the original cast of quirky characters for years to come. Here’s hoping that this version of the classic 2D brawler isn’t removed from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store in the future due to legal issues.
