Fulfill Your Lycan Dreams With Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood
During IGN’s Summer of Gaming Cyanide Studios showed up to unveil their upcoming title, Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood. The creators of Call of Cthulu are focusing on a new beast that goes bump in the night, trading tentacles for claws as the protagonist, Cahal, loses control of his rage and becomes a walking nightmare. There are three different forms to switch between as Cahal: human, wolf and werewolf, each with its own benefits and drawbacks. While there’s no official release date for Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood yet, it is available to wishlist on the Epic Games Store and it will be coming to Xbox One and PS4.
The mostly black and white trailer for Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is brilliantly contrasted by blood red leaves akin to the Frank Miller directed film, Sin City. When the leaves start to dry and wither away, colour is restored to the world, causing Cahal to shapeshift into a werewolf that summons several wolves to his side. The visuals look next-gen but the trailer suggests that it will be one of the last titles coming to the PS4 and Xbox One generation of consoles.
Nacon will be doing a digital showcase called Nacon Connect on July 7th and gamers will be able to learn more about Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood during that event. In his various forms, Cahal can do different things, such as prowling, stalking and hunting prey as a wolf or going full rage mode as a werewolf to tear enemies apart with rage. Cahal will play a crucial role in a war between the Garou, and Endron, an oil company that serves Wyrm, a destructive spirit hell-bent on decimating Earth.
