Outriders Begins Monthly Broadcasts Tomorrow
The upcoming third-person shooter from Square Enix and People Can Fly, Outriders, will receive monthly broadcasts leading to the release of the game. The online multiplayer title will be receiving broadcasts every month between now and the intended release towards the end of the year. Not much about Outriders has been showed off yet but these monthly broadcasts will unveil important details about the multi-generational title. Outriders will be releasing for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox Series X and PS5 at the tail end of 2020.
The monthly broadcast that kicks off the Outriders info tomorrow will include some gameplay, which gamers have only been given a glimpse of so far. Outriders encourages gamers to team up with up to two friends to explore alien planets as powerful, futuristic characters that will each offer unique abilities on the battlefield.
“Introducing the Outriders broadcast. A monthly show where you’re going to see new areas, new enemies, new guns and gear and all new features and details on this dirty and desperate sci-fi epic,” said the voice over for a recent statement from People Can Fly. The monthly broadcasts will be debuting Thursday, May 28th at 5 pm BS, 6 pm CEST and 9 am PDT and gamers can check it out on the official Outriders YouTube channel or Square Enix’s Twitch.tv channel.
While Outriders is a new IP from People Can Fly and Square Enix, we recently had the opportunity to try an early build of the game and considered it a quality sci-fi adventure. With very few games releasing on the PS5 having gameplay footage as of now, we thought it was a nice glimpse into the next generation of consoles.
