Outriders: If Anthem Was Good And Had Babies With The Division

Outriders Video Preview

Outriders is a name that has been sitting on the back burner, quietly biding its time. With its recent gameplay reveal courtesy of People Can Fly, we have learned so much about what we can expect from the planet of Enoch and the upcoming epic Sci-Fi experience before us. We had the opportunity to go hands on with Outriders and see just what they had been working on for the last four years and we came out of it exhilarated and optimistic for what could be the RPG-looter shooter we have been waiting for; an experience culminating after years of similar games that only scratch a particular itch that could, potentially, hit every mark we have been looking for. Check out our impressions in the video below.

Outriders is an up to three player co-op squad shooter set on the world of Enoch. After humanity ruined Earth beyond repair, two ark ships went out into space to begin life on a new world. Landing on Enoch, a terrible event occurred called the Anomaly. Technology was wiped out, leaving the colonization plans in ruins and humanity waged war on itself for survival. The Outriders – vanguard and protectors of humanity – were changed, given tremendous powers. These Altered now fight to restore order to the planet and must try to stop the war. Players can choose from three classes (with a fourth mystery class to be announced) with varying strengths of manipulating space, energy, and gravity (go here for more details)
