Bad Robot and Epic Games are Collaborating on SPYJINX
Back in 2015, Bad Robot and Epic Games announced a collaboration on an espionage themed mobile game called SPYJINX and now the game is receiving a beta. The title was originally announced for PC and mobile but now it seems like a mobile exclusive, being listed only for iOS and Android. The beta is receiving a rolling release, starting in Malaysia and Australia, starting exclusively on Apple devices with the promise of an Android release later.
In SPYJINX, gamers are able to create their own base, with RPG elements apparently being included as well. “Acquire new locations, and fill them with luxurious or deadly rooms, and the priceless Artifacts you collect,” says the official website for the game. The gameplay will be action and strategy based, with gamers forming their ideal squad to take on others through PVP and missions infiltrating other Masterminds’ bases to take them over. Epic Games fans who are interested in a new mobile experience are encouraged to check out the page for the game here.
Mobile gamers will able to customize their squad to their needs, matching hackers with special agents and equipping them with gear they find along the way. While the PC version of SPYJINX may have been canceled, gamers who are interested in the Bad Robot and Epic Games project need to have an iPhone 6S or higher with at least iOS 1, or an iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, and iPad Mini 4 with at least iOS 11. We aren’t sure when this Bad Robot and Epic Games title will make it to the west, we’re looking forward to seeing more from the mobile game.
