Limited Run Games Releasing Physical Copies of Panzer Dragoon
While the upgraded remake of Panzer Dragoon recently stealth launched on the Nintendo Switch eShop, physical copies are also inbound thanks to Limited Run Games. Limited Run Games has done many physical releases for Nintendo Switch eShop hits and this release is available for pre-order now. Two physical editions of the title can be purchased, with the Standard edition costing $40 and the Classic Edition costing $60. Panzer Dragoon is a classic Sega Saturn title from 1995 and the recent remake updates the visuals to create a somewhat modernized experience and it’s available for the Nintendo Switch now with a PC release coming later this year.
While the Standard Edition of Limited Run Games’ physical release of Panzer Dragoon simply includes the game in a physical form, the Classic Edition steps things up a notch for the extra $20 that dedicated fans will be forking out. The classic game will be housed in a Sega Saturn-themed jewel case and it will be accompanied by a “long-form” instruction manual and production booklet which used to be included with all games but were lost to time in favor of in-game tutorials.
Pre-orders for the physical copy of Panzer Dragoon are live with Limited Run Games until April 24th, so fans of the franchise have some time to decide if they want the Classic Edition or not. While gamers can buy the eShop version of this game now, they’ll have to wait a little while to get their hands on Limited Run Games’ version of the remake.
