Bayonetta 3’s Development Is Going Well, Says Hideki Kamiya

Kamiya Reaffirms That Bayonetta 3 Is Still in the Works

Despite being announced back in December 2017 with a mysterious trailer, Switch exclusive Bayonetta 3 still doesn’t have a release date nor any gameplay footage to show off. However, PlatinumGames director Hideki Kamiya recently attempted to assuage any fears about the game’s development by saying that work on the project has been going swimmingly.

Kamiya mentioned in a recent Famitsu interview about the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle that the third game’s development was “progressing smoothly.”

“Bayonetta 3’s development is progressing smoothly,” Kamiya said. “Actually, there’s a lot of info hidden in the teaser announcement in 2017.”

“Overall, if you missed out on Bayonetta or Vanquish back in the day, the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle contains two very solid remasters,” the reviewer wrote. “While Bayonetta requires a bit more grit during boss battles, both are still easy enough for anyone to pick up and not feel lost or unpracticed, and I highly recommend this bundle as a starting point for interested players.”
