The Wasteland Wanderers DLC Has Joined the Struggling WWE 2K20
As part of the “WWE 2K20 Originals” series, the Wasteland Wanderers DLC has joined the fight in WWE 2K20. The DLC pack includes new content such as four new Story Towers, character variants, two new arenas, weapons and commentary. The story content will focus on Seth the Wanderer (aka Seth Rollins), who is invited to a wrestling tournament in a post-apocalyptic city. The Wasteland Wanderers DLC is available for $15 standalone and it’s included in the Backstage Pass on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
WWE 2K20 will be getting a host of post-apocalyptic-themed content in the Wasteland Wanderers DLC such as items and features that remind us of Fallout or Mad Max. The game has new story towers for the Big Dog Roman Reigns and the NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, both providing their own challenges for WWE 2K20 fans. The new arenas included in the new DLC are the “Overlord’s Coliseum” and “The Scrapyard,” which each have their own unique feel, especially when compared to the standard arenas.
The following appearances are part of the Wasteland Wanderers DLC:
- Seth the Wanderer
- Raider Velveteen Dream
- Overlord Samoa Joe
- Warrior Ruby Riott
- Corbin the Gatekeeper
- Advocate Jack Gallagher
- Ali Fortune Fighter
- Grand Champion Batista
While the current year of WWE titles has been struggling to remain functional, the Wasteland Wanderers DLC could breathe some life into the title. At the beginning of 2020, WWE 2K20 was completely unable to play, akin to a Y2K bug where the system couldn’t recognize it because of the clocks moving forward.
Will you be going back to WWE 2K20 with the new DLC or do you feel slighted by the title? Which new appearance are you looking forward to seeing? Let us know in the comments below!
