Crash Team Racing Getting a Little Rusty

Rustland Grand Prix Coming to Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

The Rustland Grand Prix has arrived on Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, bringing with it new content to the game for racers to collect. There’s an interesting new character named Mega-Mix to unlock, three new karts, Rustland skins, decals, stickers, paint and wheels. The top 5% of racers on the leaderboards for the Rustland Grand Prix will receive a Champion Kart and special decal to commemorate their success. As usual, this Grand Prix releases with a new map and this one is a Mad Max inspired apocalyptic dust bowl. Gamers can check out the new Grand Prix until February 16th on the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One.

Each Gran Prix event adds new content to the game and Rustland is no different, with Mega-Mix looking like a unique blend of Tiny Tiger, Dingodile and N. Gin. He has the massive Tiger body, the legs and gut of Dingodile and the ugly N. mug; a true abomination of nature. One of the new karts looks like a rusty old speeder from the original Star Wars trilogy, another is a Mad Max inspired spiky machine with treads, glowing yellow eyes and a grill that could impale any of the competition.

A new game feature known as the Golden Wumpa Hunt joins the game with the Rustland Grand Prix.Several challenges are connected to this game mode and it rewards Wumpa Coins upon completion. The new mode workds on any course and racers will apparently have to hunt down the Golden Wumpa by smashing glowing crates. The gamer with the most Golden Wumpa Fruit at the end wins.
