The Foundation “will delve into the history” of the game’s setting, The Oldest House, according to the DLC’s official description. “At the request of the ever-mysterious Board,” the description continued, “Jesse must explore what lies beneath the Bureau as she returns order to the Foundation and the Oldest House itself. Expect things to get weird.”

The second DLC, AWE, is slated to come out in mid-2020, according to the game’s post-launch roadmap. It will “take Jesse into a new part of the Oldest House, the Investigations Sector, where the Bureau closely examines Altered World Events.”

Other news: Control recently received an update that added new mode, Expeditions, which involves Jesse taking on waves of enemies in four combat arenas and completing various timed challenges. The game also got updated this month with bug and performance fixes.
