Star Wars Battlefront 2: Celebration Edition Coming out December 5th
The recently leaked Star Wars Battlefront 2: Celebration Edition has been confirmed and it’s releasing in two days on December 5th. While the skins inspired by Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren from Star Wars: Rise of the Skywalker were part of the leak, the game comes with a lot more goodies such as emotes, victory poses and voice lines. Though the game had a rough launch, EA Dice is looking to introduce new fans who are excited for Star Wars: Rise of the Skywalker or can’t stop watching The Mandalorian. The Star Wars Battlefront 2: Celebration Edition will be releasing on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
With the Celebration Edition releasing in two days, Star Wars Battlefront 2 fans are likely wondering what exactly makes the package so different from their version of the game. The following will be included in the package when it releases in two days:
- Base Game, including all past and future free game updates as they release.
- More than 25 Hero Appearances, including six Legendary Appearances, plus one Appearance each for Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren inspired by Star Wars: Rise of the Skywalker.
- More than 125 Trooper and Reinforcement Appearances.
- More than 100 Hero and Trooper Emotes and Voice Lines
- More than 70 Hero and Trooper Victory Poses
Despite the fact that the leak hit the nail on the head by predicting the awesome new appearances for Finn, Rey and Kylo Ren, the leaker clearly didn’t expect such a good bit of content to be included and nobody could’ve predicted such an early launch. It’s likely that retailers already have the Star Wars: Celebration Edition bundles but were somehow able to keep it under wraps.
Will you be getting the Celebration Edition of Battlefront 2 are you progressed enough that the bundle doesn’t have enough content for you? Do you prefer the Rebels or the Empire? Let us know in the comments below!
