Kerbal Space Program 2 Blasts Off On PC, Xbox One and PS4 in 2020
Kerbal Space Program 2 will feature new game mechanics, new planets and extended mod support as it releases in early 2020 for PC and later in the same year for consoles. No date has been confirmed as of now but it will be releasing on PC first just as the original game did.The developers behind KSP2, Star Theory, announced the sequel to their quirky and cute space simulator at Gamescom opening night live.
The developers at Star Theory found such success with using the real-life science behind space exploration in Kerbal Space Program that Take-Two Interactive funded their sequel. Private Division is also lending a hand in the sequel, making sure KSP2 is one giant leap for Kerbal kind. The sequel improves the tutorial experience which is likely to help newcomers learn the rocket science behind Kerbal Space Program in a more seamless way than veterans of the original experience. Despite tailoring this introductory experience to noobs, Star Theory assures us that the bar is continuing to get raised for people who perfected their space voyages in Kerbal Space Program. New space technologies introduced in KSP2 will make it possible for gamers to reach further into the vastness of space and gamers will be able to build without the constraints of planetary gravitation for the first time. This lack of constraint allows for larger creations for interstellar travel.
