Switch Gamers Who Haven’t Tried It yet Can Try the eShop Cadence of Hyrule Demo
After two months of success on the Nintendo Switch, Brace Yourself Games and Nintendo just dropped a Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer demo on the eShop. The demo launches with update 1.0.2 which includes co-op leaderboards, Beat Rumble, achievements, numerous bug fixes and more.
Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer is a rhythmic hack-and-slash dungeon crawler where the music is randomly generated, making each run through a level unique as you move to the beat. The newly introduced update 1.0.2. Beat Rumble gently rumbles the controller on the beat, giving Cadence of Hyrule more immersion as it helps players feel the beat better while they can already hear the music already, particularly with headphones plugged in. Now, not only will gamers be able to see and hear the beat, but they can also feel it. Some other changes in patch 1.0.2 include map escapes and dungeon skips for gamers happy to ditch immersion for convenience and path of least resistance.
Despite being a spin-off title produced by, Brace Yourself Games, we think Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer is one of the best Legend of Zelda titles available today. Considering this game is fueled by speed running, we think it’s very fitting that co-op run leaderboards have officially released. Considering the demo is free on the Nintendo Switch eShop, we recommend Legend of Zelda fans download the demo of Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer. With the success of this rhythmic game on the Switch, does this mean we could see the Switch revive Elite Beat Agents? We can dream.
What sort of Nintendo franchise spin-off would you like to see next? Did you expect to enjoy Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer as much as you did? Let us know in the comments below!
