Cadence of Hyrule Release Date Officially Set for June

Real Talk: Why Is Her Name Not CaDANCE?

More news out of Hyrule. The upcoming Crypt of the NecroDancer and Legend of Zelda crossover Cadence of Hyrule is set to come out next month. If you heard that it was coming out earlier this week, well I am sorry to say that did not happen. Dataminers found source code on the Nintendo eShop that suggested it would be coming out May 30th. The villainous placeholder strikes again! That code has since been changed for a June launch. The NEW Cadence of Hyrule release date is now June 20th. But is that the real release date? Fool me once, shame on Nintendo. Fool me four times or more, shame on me.

Cadence of Hyrule Release Date

Thankfully, June 20th does seem to be the official launch day. Earlier today, Nintendo released a video for its Japanese audience showcasing over a dozen upcoming titles. This included Cadence of Hyrule and set the release day for June 20th. Very soon-ish, we call join Cadence, Link, and Zelda in bringing the beat to Hyrule’s deadliest creatures. Nintendo says that Cadence of Hyrule will have 25 classic Legend of Zelda songs remixed for our dance-fighting pleasure. It will also have randomly generated dungeons and overworld areas.

Praise be to Nayru for this news. If you are a rhythm game, dungeon crawler, Legend of Zelda fan, and/or a Nintendo Switch owner, do yourself a flavour. Two-step your way to the Nintendo eShop and pick up this game. Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer feat. Zelda will (probably) be available on June 20th for the Nintendo Switch.
