Humans Celebrate 15 Years of Being Virtually Destroyed
The third of three announcements from THQ Nordic was revealed today – the Destroy All Humans! franchise is coming back to Earth with a remake of the original game.
Destroy All Humans! originally abducted our minds back in 2005, and the remake will be releasing next year for it’s 15th anniversary. For those who may not remember, you play as Cryptosporidum 137 as he invades Earth to probe cows, level entire townships, and probe more cows at Area 51. The new remake is said to include new content that was left on the original’s cutting room floor.
The remake is being developed by Black Forest Games, the team behind the recent Giana Sisters games and everyone’s favorite Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back.
There’s no official release date yet, but it’ll be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Yesterday, THQ announced Darksiders Genesis, and the day before that, a remake of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom. Let us know in the comments which one you’re most looking forward to!
