Gear Up for January Gold
Microsoft is already prepared for a stellar follow-up to December. Yesterday, we brought word that Hellblade and Ori had reached Xbox Game Pass. Next month, a few more titles are available for free with an Xbox Live Gold subscription, thanks to Games with Gold. The list includes Celeste, a game nominated for 2018 Game of the Year.
Celeste is also one of the most difficult games of 2018, sharing the Games with Gold list with  WRC 6 FIA World Rally Championship, a racing experience that pits players against conditions. The award-winning indie title game will be available throughout the month of January, while you can download WRC 6 later, on January 16th, until it reaches its regular price on February 15th.
For the Xbox 360, players can pick up Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. This isometric game of guns and puzzles will be free starting January 1st, available to download until January 15th. Immediately afterward, Far Cry 2 will be available to download from January 16th-31st. It’s the first-ever sequel to the mad, open world franchise, which means players can dive back to the roots of mayhem. As always, Xbox 360 titles are available on Xbox One via Backward Compatibility.
