Cross-Play Continues To Conquer
Earlier this week at the Hi-Rez Expo, the developer announced that they’re bringing cross-play to three of their most popular titles in the new year.
The first game to get the feature will be Paladins, where it’ll launch alongside Season 2 which is currently slated for January 16th. The timeframes for Smite and Realm Royale are a little less clear as Realm Royale is currently in closed beta on Xbox One (with a PS4 version apparently in the works), and Smite was only just revealed for the Nintendo Switch. So far the cross-play for each title is set to include PC, Xbox and Switch players, as Sony only recently opened up the platform to cross-play with Fortnite.
Smite is set to hit Nintendo Switch on January 24th, 2019. It’s currently available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One right now, as is Paladins, which is free to play. Be sure to check out our preview of Realm Royale and let us know in the comments if you’re looking forward to cross-playing these titles in the comments.
