Ubisoft Isn’t Foxing Around With Starlink’s Launch Trailer
Ubisoft has released a shiny new launch trailer for the upcoming Starlink: Battle For Atlas, and it’s actually better than most modern Hollywood movies.
The cinematic trailer evokes memories of Halo’s powerful and effective live-action trailers, as well as 80’s film The Last Starfighter. It even makes a film version of the game seem like it might not be horrendous (but video games don’t translate to film so don’t bother, just leave this the beautiful way it is). The lack of gameplay is permissible considering how well the trailer gets the game’s point across (outside of the necessity of toys), plus a boatload of gameplay has been released since its showing at E3.
