Battlefield V’s Dramatic Singleplayer Trailer Just Dropped

The Upcoming WW2 Shooter Launches Next Month

The official trailer for Battlefield V’s singleplayer campaign was uploaded on Tuesday and it shows off several of its cast of characters such as a Norwegian resistance fighter, an African colonial soldier, a German tank commander, and a British soldier.

Here’s the campaign’s premise, per the trailer’s YouTube description:

“Discover the untold stories of World War 2 with Battlefield V’s single player War Stories. In Nordlys, resist German occupation in Norway, sabotage behind enemy lines as an unlikely English soldier in Under No Flag, fight for a home you’ve never seen in Tirailleur, and in The Last Tiger (available in December) join the crew of a Tiger I as they question why they fight.”

Unlike its rival, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Battlefield V will include a singleplayer campaign alongside its multiplayer modes. Several Battlefield developers were reportedly happy that Black Ops 4 would be launching without singleplayer since they saw that decision as an advantage they have.

However, despite launching without a singleplayer campaign, the latest Call of Duty had the biggest launch day digital sales in publisher Activision’s history. We’ll have to wait until November 20th to see how well Battlefield V will do.
