Mega Man 11 Demo Comes to Consoles with Community Challenge

“If They Deserve Life, Let Them Stand For Themselves” – The Protomen – V: The Stand (Man or Machine)

Earlier today Capcom released a demo for the upcoming Mega Man 11, along with a community challenge for those who download it.

Mega Man Block Man

The demo is available now on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, and features the Block Man stage that has been making the rounds over this summers convention circuit.

Capcom has issued a challenge to players who download the demo – every time a player defeats Block Man, it will chip away at the above statue, and if the world works together to bring it down, everyone who participated in the demo will receive a handful of single-use items when the full game drops.

The developer also took a moment to reveal Bounce Man and his stage, Boing-Boing Park, which is essentially a hellish bouncy castle that will see players bouncing off the walls while trying to dodge enemies.

Bounce Man joins the roster alongside the recently revealed Impact Man, Torch Man, Fuse Man, and Blast Man. It was also recently announced that third-party accessory manufacturer Hyperkin will be releasing a special Mega Man 11 controller exclusively for Xbox and PC. \

Mega Man 11 hits PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch this coming October 2nd. Let us know what you think in the comments and stay tuned to COGconnected for all the latest gaming news!
