EA DICE Shares a List of Exciting Changes Coming to Battlefield V at Launch, Including Improved TTK

EA DICE Learned a Lot from the Battlefield V Beta, Shares Changes Dropping at Launch

Recently we learned that Battlefield V would be delayed from early October to November 20th in order for EA DICE to polish and shine the game that much more. Of course, the results of the open beta would prove helpful in doing just this, and though it’s officially over, EA DICE has just shared a list of changes coming to the game on launch day.

With the beta complete, EA DICE has thanked players for their participation in a recent post on the official Battlefield V website, “Thank you for being a part of the Battlefield V Open Beta. It’s been great to see you deploy on the rowdy streets of Rotterdam and among Narvik’s snowy scenery, getting a taste of how Battlefield V will operate on its November release. We appreciate your feedback and it will come to good use – in some cases it already has.”

Additionally, they stated that they’re working on a full detailed list of what they learned from the beta, which they intend to reveal next week. In the meantime, they did share some of the planned changes taking place at launch, which you can check out below.

  • Squad play and Matchmaking – Several changes are already in place and additional improvements will be made to secure the best possible launch experience.
  • Attrition – Scarcity of ammo and health is something we want to get just right, and the Open Beta gave us a lot of info on how to balance it.
  • Visibility – Distance haze, lighting, general contrast and other visibility aspects are being tinkered with, letting you see your enemies better in the world.
  • Death Experience – We’re adjusting bleed out and spawn times to make your virtual deaths as good as virtual deaths can be.
  • Vehicles – Damage states, movement, and weaponry of tanks and other vehicles are being tweaked.
  • TTK and TTD – We’re adjusting automatic weapons to make the Time to Kill and Time to Death as fair and fun as possible.
  • Progression and Customization – We’re working on making the user journey one that’s smooth and personal.
  • Chat Profanity Filter on PC – We are evaluating the Open Beta feedback and are making many adjustments for launch.
