Following Through On His Promise of Wrecking It
Disney Animation Studios has dropped the first full length trailer for the sequel to 2012’s Wreck It Ralph.
The original Wreck It Ralph made more than $470M in quarters at the global box office when it released six years ago, and earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature. In an interview for the 2012 film, director Rich Moore stated that many members of the cast and crew were interested in a sequel, as they had “just scratched the surface” of the video game world they believed in.
The film stars John C. Reilly as the titular character and comedian Sarah Silverman as Vanellope Von Schweetz. The sequel hits theaters this November 21st, right in the middle of gaming’s busiest time of the year.
