E3 2018: Transference Gets a Very Creepy Official Trailer

Transference is Ubisoft’s Newest, Creepy VR Horror Game

Ubisoft released a brand new trailer for their creepy, psychological horror VR game, Transference. Working in collaboration with Spectrevision, Ubisoft revealed some more information on the game at this year’s E3 conference.

Though announced last year, not much was known about Transference until Ubisoft’s newest trailer dropped at E3 today.

The new trailer describes the game as:

Plunge into the experiment of a troubled scientist, a corrupted digital simulation of his family formed using their collective brain data. Shift between the three perspectives of a family and unravel the mystery hiding in this mind-bending psychological thriller.

Available in Fall 2018 Transference™ is a psychological thriller and the first game collaboration between SpectreVision and Ubisoft. Bridging the gap between movies and games, we invite you to lose yourself in the destructive tale of a man’s obsession as you explore his digitally recreated memories.

Experience the limits of techno-psychology and escape a maze-like puzzle concealing a corrupted truth. Get projected into the digital consciousness of troubled case subjects and maybe you will influence their fate.

Transference is a world built from the collective brain data of Raymond, his wife Katherine and their son Benjamin. Recover a fragmented family as you shift back and forth between each individual’s perspective and piece together the mystery of their lives. Go hands-on to search for clues, solve puzzles and discover the corrupted consciousness of a family.

IT’S YOUR EXPERIENCE, THROUGH YOUR EYES: In this truly first-person narrative mystery it is you, who will explore the story of a family told through the walls of their home. This is no RPG, you stumble into Raymond’s experiment with your own experience and must interpret events for yourself.
