Rumor: Xbox Games with Gold for June Leaked
In just a few short days it will be June and we still haven’t heard anything about the free games of the month through the Xbox Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus programs yet. Thankfully, despite no announcements from Microsoft, the list of Games with Gold for the month of June has just been leaked.
Whether by mistake or just a stroke of luck on our part, the German Xbox Wire page leaked the free games for June for both the Xbox One and Xbox 360. According to the website there are four games that will be available next month, two which drop in just a few days, on June 1st, and the other two which drop on June 16th. Interestingly the page has not been removed, which seems to lend to its credibility even more.
So which games can we expect? According to the leak the two games for the Xbox One are Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Russia on June 1st and Smite: Gold Bundle on June 16th. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Russia is the final chapter in the trilogy which takes place during the early 20th century in Russia during the October Revolution. Smite: Gold Bundle on the other hand is the base game of the popular MOBA, with a few extra add-ons. This version of the game is listed with a $99.99 value.
The two games for the Xbox 360 are Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed on June 1st and Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues on June 16th. Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed is the ultimate racing game that lets you transform any of your vehicles from cars, to boats and planes as you maneuver the different landscapes. And if you’re wondering more about Lego Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues this is a follow-up title that features brand new levels based on the original Indiana Jones trilogy, as well as levels based on the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull film. Both of these titles are available on the Xbox One through backwards compatibility as well. You can check out the games below.
While the US division of Microsoft has yet to confirm these titles as the Games with Gold for June, we’ll just have to wait and see what the next couple of days has in store. In the meantime, you still have time to pick up Super Mega Baseball 2 and Vanquish for free until they disappear on May 31st. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is also still available, though you have a bit more time, as it’s free until June 15th.
