Retail Leaks! Retail Leaks Everywhere!
You know it’s really E3 season when a bunch of games keep getting leaked! A Rage sequel, a new Splinter Cell, an Xbox One version of the Final Fantasy VII remake and more have been spotted on this Walmart webpage. Just in case if the webpages for those games get taken down, here is a ResetEra thread that has a massive image for all of them.
Of course, not everything on that webpage seems accurate or legit. For example, one of the games that’s listed is titled “Forza Horizons 5” which is most likely a mistake since a fourth Forza Horizon game is planned to be shown at E3 2018.
One of the most notable titles on the Walmart webpage is one for a new Splinter Cell. Earlier this year, we reported on a leak that apparently showed that a new Splinter Cell was in the works and could be shown at E3. Combine all this with some interesting comments from Michael Ironside, the original voice actor for series protagonist Sam Fisher, and a new Splinter Cell game being revealed is looking more and more likely.
A new Assassin’s Creed game was also spotted on the Walmart webpage, which isn’t too surprising since Ubisoft has been rumored to be developing a new Assassin’s Creed game for some time now.
A new entry in the Destiny franchise is also among the multiple games listed (titled “Destiny Comet“). According to Polygon, Destiny Comet is “a frequently used codename for major expansions for Destiny games”.
What do you think about all these leaked games? How excited are you for E3 this year? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
