Sony Builds up Hype for Gaming 2018
2018 has launched and has proven to be a good launch with a few worthwhile game releases in January. But, since this is only the start, Sony wanted to remind everyone of what’s to come. And they wanted to remind everyone that what’s to come can be played on PS4 Pro. To that end, they’ve released a new TV spot for the 4K console that is thirty seconds of gaming excellence.
The new footage presents quality titles Monster Hunter: World, Far Cry 5, and PS4 exclusive God of War. Presumably, each game successfully utilizes the power of the PS4 Pro. Mid-generation upgrades do reflect visibly on the performance of each game, and it seems Sony is making more people aware of the fact. But enough said; here’s the PS4 Pro’s 30-seconds of fame.
We’re especially interested to see how this year’s new batch of games is tapping into the power of PS4 Pro,” said Mary Yee, Vice President of PlayStation, SIEA. “Marketing Monster Hunter: World is a perfect example, offering PS4 Pro players three separate rendering prioritization settings — Resolution, Framerate, and Graphics – which empower players to choose the heightened experience that’s right for them. All three modes are impressive in their own way, whether you prefer dynamic 4K rendering on your 4K TV, a super-smooth framerate, or increased visual detail.
If you’re interested in more games that utilize the capabilities of the PS4 Pro, PlayStation has a compiled list of AAA titles for your perusal, which you can find here. 2018 promises to be an interesting and game-heavy year. Strick around for updates on the latest releases and more.
Happy gaming.
