Real-Time Strategy With That Vibrant Sheen You’re Looking For
A proper real-time strategy game should feel great and look good. While the screens below contain no indications regarding gameplay, these new images from Masters of Anima look awesome, at least. The whole thing has a sort of Torchlight/League of Legends/Blizzard visual vibe going on, does it not?
If you’re unfamiliar with the game in question, Masters of Anima follows a young man mastering the forces of magic in order to rescue his fiancée. Also the world needs saving, but that surely seems trivial when the love of one’s life has been captured by a golem-wielding loon named Zahr. Becoming a master-class magician in this case means summoning spells. You’ll be able to call forth up to 100 magical minions in order to win the day and rescue your future bride.
The game is set to release for both PC and consoles, although it’s not been specified which consoles. Personally, I think fast-paced strategy games more or less demand a mouse and keyboard, but maybe I’m just a stodgy old purist. We’ve still got no release window beyond spring 2018, though we’ll be sure to update you once a concrete date is revealed. In the meantime, we’ve got screens to feast upon.
