Black Canary Is the Female Fighter in Injustice 2 That Gets up Close and Personal
NetherRealms has been hitting us with all sorts news and information regarding Injustice 2. With back to back reveals of Swamp Thing then Cat Woman, Cheetah, and Poison Ivy in “Here Come The Girls” trailer, they’re stepping back and giving us a bit of how-to. Specifically, we’re learning about the nuance in character Black Canary’s move set.
Too many folks call Canary’s moves a copy of Sonya Blade from Mortal Kombat. Considering the number of characters in the game, and all the character move sets ever created by NetherRealm, similarities were bound to occur. But if you know anything about martial arts, you’ll know it’s about what works. And note the uniqueness in Black Canary’s moves through this video; they seem to work pretty well and do justice to the character.
Injustice 2 promises the most extensive roster of any of NR fighting game thus far. With this in mind, just about everyone is likely to find a character they like. Seeing as more has yet to be revealed, you can expect more news from us as it comes our way.
