ReCore Gets Free 30 Min Trial and Patch to Decrease Load Times
Have you thought about picking up ReCore but weren’t sure if you should be sinking in the cash to pick it up just yet? If that’s the case you can now get 30 minutes worth of action for free courtesy of Microsoft. You’ll be able to get as far as you can in those 30 precious minutes and when you’re all done, should you choose to purchase the game, you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off. A smart move on Microsoft’s part as the critical reception was probably a little less than what they were hoping for.
When we reviewed ReCore a few weeks ago we said that while the game was a ton of fun to play there were a few niggling items that kept it from being great. One of the biggest issues was the load times which were atrociously long. Luckily, a new patch available to deal with that and a few other things as well. On the official ReCore site, they let us know exactly what was coming in;
In this update, you will experience decreased loading times, see audio and visual improvements, and notice improvements to issues you may have experienced with waypoints, achievement tracking, collision locations, checkpoints and respawn points.
